~~Cottage Foods Available now~~
Over the last few years, we've been giving back to our local military community. Kristin served as President, Vice President, and as an advisor of 501(c)(b) USS Emory S. Land Family Readiness Group. During the advisory year, she worked closely with other passionate bakers to formulate a greater mission through a new nonprofit called the Three Course Guild.
It is our goal to continue building on the Guild mission.
The whole idea is to bring Sweet and Savory entrepreneurs together to form a supportive business community. Then taking that community and minimizing or removing food deserts in our local area.
While 3CG is still on the drawing board the heart and action are not.
Golden Brown Delicious is committed to bringing food abundance to the serviceable area. To do this the following is incorporated into our business model. So you know that, when you buy from us, your hard earned dollars aren't just going into our pocket, they'll be used to provide:
The Neighborhood Pantry will be openly accessible to anyone. We want to ensure food is available even in the most difficult of situations. A fed person is more able to make decisions with a sound mind and a calmed stomach. By soothing basic needs higher tiers can then be met. ...
((Yes, I anticipate homeless persons to swing by, I anticipate "Section 8" may stop by, I anticipate that if there were to be another "Child called 'It'" situation, they too would have a safe place to respite suffrage. Everyone has a story you may not know, even the ones with the nice car or big house. In turn much like our business space, Everyone is welcome and we maintain no right to judge where you come from nor where you're going. ))
What we want is to help you meet needs and enjoy something delicious.
*Pantry will be available during business hours at the brick and mortar location starting in 2025. If you would like to contribute or help, please contact us directly. More information will be posted here as it becomes available.
We would go with "Soup Kitchen" but to bring the 3CG mission to life, sweet and savory will be available. The meal could be simple when we first get started then become increasingly elaborate. Know though, it will take time. To volunteer your time, service, or donate please feel comfortable contacting us directly in person or otherwise.
Through and through, it comes down to meeting basic human needs. We believe that a hot meal is one of those basics. Once each month we will open our doors to serve free meals to the public. Much like the meal options, the frequency that this service will be available may increase to bi-weekly, weekly or even a daily option under the right conditions. This too will take time.
All are welcome to enjoy these days. Priority will be given to those expressing a need. Any kind of need, even if you're just hungry waiting for the power to come back on. Available beginning in 2025.
**Prospective venture, available date currently to be determined.
